Product Description
Bromford '30CCrB' is a 0.30% carbon-boron treated steel with added chromium for improved hardenability.

As rolled 285 HB max.

Hardenability
Jominy HV470 at 8mm.

Size Range
Hot Mill 1 flats are available in most combinations from 18mm up to 80mm wide by 3mm up to 13mm thick. Special profiles can be rolled within similar geometric limits.

Tolerances
BS970 Pt.1 dimensional tolerances are standard for mill edge flats.

Width
up to 35mm +/- 0.5mm, 35 to 75mm +/- 0.8mm
over 75mm +/- 1.0mm

Thickness
up to 10mm +/- 0.4mm, over 10mm +/- 0.5mm

Length
Standard + 300mm, Exacts + 50mm, Re-sheared + 6mm

Special tolerances and SPC analysis can be supplied by agreement.

Supply Condition
Bars are available in lengths up to 8.0 metres. Bar ends are cleanly sheared. Standard bundles are 2000 kg secured with tensioned bands. Smaller bundles available by agreement.

Ancillary Services
Re-shearing, cold straightening, pickling and oiling, special bundling and wrapping.
