Product Description
Hot rolled steel flats supplied in 'ribbon' coils also called 'pancake' coils, consisting of a single width of strip, wound to form a neat ribbon-like coil.

Size Range
Hot rolled flats are available in coil from our Hot Mill 2 in most combinations within the range specified below:

Width
from 10mm up to 30mm
Thickness
from 2mm up to 6mm

Special profiles are also rolled and can be supplied in coil where their geometry is suitable.

Tolerances
BS970 Pt.1 dimensional tolerances are standard for mill edge hot mill flats.

Width
+/- 0.5mm
Thickness
+/- 0.4mm

Special tolerances and SPC analysis can be supplied
by agreement.

Outside diameter

Coil weight
7.3 kg/mm width

Coils are individually secured with tensioned bands and stacked in bundles of approximately 2000 kg.
